Understanding your Shared Dashboard

Once you’re logged in, you’ll access a shared dashboard that can display balances of CI Direct Investing and CI Direct Trading accounts. You’ll be able to easily link existing CI Direct Investing or CI Direct Trading accounts to your new dashboard. If you’re not a client of CI Direct Investing or CI Direct Trading, you’ll have an option to apply for a new account. 

The CI Direct Investing and CI Direct Trading client dashboards will remain available from the new shared dashboard.

The shared dashboard has four sections:

  1. Header/Top Navigation bar
  2. Overview
  3. Account tiles
  4. Footer

Header/Top Navigation bar

The top navigation bar has links to important features: 

  • The CI Direct Investing Logo and DASHBOARD take you back to the shared dashboard 
  • SETTINGS takes you to a page where you can manage your Single Sign On profile
  • LOGOUT logs you out of your active session and takes you to the Sign In page
  • FRANÇAIS changes the language for the shared dashboard to French

Overview

The overview section will display the name that you provided for your Single Sign On profile during Sign Up, as well as the combined balances of your linked CI Direct Investing and CI Direct Trading accounts in Canadian dollars.

Account tiles

This section displays information about accounts you have at CI Direct Investing and CI Direct Trading, and will vary depending on whether you’re just getting started, have started an account application, or have linked an existing account. The balance for any linked accounts will be displayed here. 

Various calls to action buttons may be displayed:

  • GET STARTED to open a new account
  • Link here to link an existing account
  • FINISH APPLICATION to finish an application you started but didn’t complete
  • VIEW ACCOUNT to view your accounts from the CI Direct Investing or CI Direct Trading dashboard
